Aroma Flow In this non-heated 60 minute yoga class we will be incorporating essential oils into our practice. Essential oils will help you get into a deeper state of awareness and presence. Like yoga, essential oils have been used for thousands of years to heal and balance the mind-body connection. Since the sense of smell is the easiest pathway to the brains limbic system where memories, instincts and vital functions are controlled and processed it makes sense to use specific therapeutic grade essential oils in your yoga!Here are some of the powerful benefits of essential oils: Improve mental clarity, ease stress and anxiety, promote rest, soothe muscles and joints, and support immune function. You will complete your practice with an extended period of deep rest (savasana), leave feeling grounded and refreshed from this practice and have an understanding of why and where to apply the oil.
