In 2019 I decided to stop drinking alcohol. It was having a detrimental effect on my well-being physically, mentally, and emotionally. It wasn't an easy road, but one thing got me through it:
I threw myself into yoga. Not only the physical practice but all of the principles of yoga. I studied the Yamas and Niyamas, the Koshas, and Chakras. I dove deep into the subtle, energetic body. I practiced pranayama and meditation, and I learned how to use all this yogic knowledge to overcome my addiction to alcohol. With all this new insight and wisdom... I came back to my center.
I want to help you come back to your center too.
These last several months I have been designing a series of online courses that mirror the practices I incorporated to regain my sobriety.

These courses will take you from the densest, most physical aspect of the body to the subtlest layers underneath, which will give you a clearer insight into why and how an unhealthy relationship with alcohol is formed and give you the tools to overcome it.

Self-inquiry prompts for journaling
Videos for yoga, meditation and pranayama practice as they pertain to each subject
Invitation to join The Center of Wellness's private Facebook group, where we will continue to practice, learn and share our sobriety journey together
The sobriety courses are just the beginning of The Center of Wellness curriculum! I hope you will be a part of this new community as I will be providing many opportunities in the future to use yogic practices and wisdom to improve your well-being in all aspects of your life.
